Florida's Compliance Assistance Program for Automotive Repair Shops (CAAR)

Florida's Compliance Assistance Program for Automotive Repair Shops (CAAR) is designed to improve the environmental compliance of regulated facilities. The program for compliance assistance at automotive repair shops includes a number of resources, one of which is a self-audit program. A workbook and self-audit checklist is available from DEP to help a shop manager evaluate the shop’s compliance with environmental regulations .
