Final EPA Paint Rule is Published in Federal Register
The U.S. EPA has published the final version of its new automobile refinish regulation in the January 9, 2008, Federal Register. The new rule includes emissions standards for auto body refinish operations, along with other area sources of hazardous air pollutants.

EPA developed the Collision Repair Campaign to focus on meaningful risk reduction in the Collision Repair source sector to complement our ongoing community air toxics work and attain reductions at a faster rate.
