Review all HV Battery Policy & Recovery Program Launch Communications below. |

Ensure that the both the Hybrid Technician and Parts Personnel responsible for HV battery preparation and/or packaging, and shipment have the
required training. |

Technician Training Requirements |
| |
For technicians performing HVB preparation functions, the minimum training requirements include completion of Certified Hybrid Technician training (UOT-071) and High-Voltage NiMH Battery Preparation and Packaging for Ground Transportation (EHM-011) function specific training. |

Parts Personnel Training Requirements |
| |
For parts department personnel responsible for packaging the HVB for shipment and/or offering the package for shipment by common carrier, the minimum training requirements include completion of Hazmat U - DOT 49 CFR 172.704 training (EHM-001) and High-Voltage NiMH Battery Preparation and Packaging for Ground Transportation (EHM-011) function specific training. |

| Step Three: |
Click the link below and fill out a HV Battery Inventory and DRC Request Survey online. |

| Step Four: |
Upon receipt of the DRC's, the Technician must complete the Preparation and Packaging Competency online training module located directly below EHM-011 course. |

NOTE: In order to complete the Preparation and Packaging Competency online training module, the HV technician must upload a completed Preparation and Packaging Competency form with the (3) digital photorgraphs attached in the adobe pdf. Once the form has been verified by KPA, the Parts Manager will receive a training validation email permitting the shipment of HVBs to Toyota. |
| Step Five: |
Using the Part Recovery System for both Warranty and Non-warranty battery returns, ship the HVBs as per Warranty Policy 9.10 |
